Copy Approval

What this surface does

Copy Approval is the text-only sibling of Design Requests. The customer reviews ad copy, mailer copy, SMS scripts, or any other written deliverable and either approves or comments. Tracks draft versions, who approved, and timestamps.

When to use it

• Final sign-off on SMS templates before they go to carrier review.
• Mailer body approval where the layout is locked but the words still need a yes/no.
• Ad headline / description approval before paid promotion starts.

Key gotchas

• An approved draft locks the copy. Subsequent edits require a new draft version.
• "Approval" is captured with the approver name, email, and timestamp — this is what we cite if compliance questions arise.
• Copy with vendor names from the blocklist (defined in `src/lib/help-content.ts`) is rejected at submit time.
