What this surface does
Design Requests is the work queue for customer-submitted design briefs (logos, mailers, ad creative, yard sign art). Each request has a brief, attached files, assigned designer, status (New → In Progress → Revisions → Approved), and a revisions thread.
When to use it
- Triaging the new-request column daily.
- Assigning a designer based on capacity / specialty.
- Reviewing the revisions queue before final approval.
Key gotchas
- Approved designs lock the request — further changes need a new request.
- Revision count is not capped server-side, but the agreement may specify a limit. Watch the count and escalate when exceeded.
- File uploads go to private storage — direct-link sharing outside the portal is not supported.
