What Happened to Voice Broadcasts?
Voice broadcast and the standalone email service are retired — texting is the recommended replacement.

If you're looking for the voice broadcast service (automated voice messages to voter lists) — it's been retired, along with the standalone email marketing service. Clients who were using either were contacted directly during the wind-down.
Why
Voice broadcasts stopped earning their keep: answer rates collapsed as carriers and phones got aggressive about screening automated calls, while compliance overhead kept growing. Text messaging reaches the same phones with dramatically better read and response rates, so we concentrated the platform there.
What to use instead
- Texting (SMS/MMS) is the direct replacement for voice — same audience, same immediacy, better results, and a fully built compliance pipeline (carrier registration, opt-out handling, review before every send). Start with Text Messaging Overview in the Text Messaging category.
- Email to your supporters is best run through your existing email marketing provider, which connects to your campaign website's signup forms — we wire that up during your website build.
If you see old links or documents mentioning voice
Older materials may still reference voice broadcasts. Anything voice-related in your portal is historical; no new voice work is being taken on.
Reach the same voters by text
Texting reaches the same phones with far better response rates — and the compliant pipeline is already built. Enroll from your Services page.
