Creating Message Templates

Templates let you create reusable messages with personalization.

Creating a Template

1. Go to your campaign's SMS section
2. Click "Templates" and then "New Template"
3. Enter a template name and message body
4. Use merge fields for personalization:

• {first_name} — Inserts the contact's first name
• {last_name} — Inserts the contact's last name

Character Limits

• SMS messages are limited to 160 characters per segment
• Longer messages are automatically split into multiple segments
• Each segment is billed separately

MMS (Picture Messages)

You can attach an image URL to send MMS messages. MMS messages support up to 1600 characters of text plus media.
